Armies of exigo trainer11/25/2023 ![]() I hope you'll come along for the ride, if only to add to the discussion that I hope my content can facilitate.Īs someone with very little experience with WoW and zero experience with older WarCraft titles, I was probably less impacted by the lore and more impacted by the presentation, but I feel that's pretty par for the course with blizzard games. Armed with this knowledge and a host of retarded inside jokes, I aim to create entertaining long-form video content that is built around taking a deep, analytical look at video games and their core elements, and creating a discussion around what makes them good, bad, and ugly. Through my extensive time playing and experiencing custom content, I have also branched out numerous times to other games, genres, and developers, and have built a massive knowledge base regarding the design and psychology of video games. I have dedicated the last year and the foreseeable future to growing the custom content scene as much as possible, while pursuing my goals of producing and publicizing high-quality SC/WC3/SC2 campaigns and content. The passion I have for Brood War likely borders on high-functioning autism and has practically consumed my life in a way that would be embarrassing to admit if I were any less obsessed. I have spent most of my childhood and all of my adult life experiencing and producing custom content for StarCraft: Brood War, though I have quite a bit of history with WarCraft III and StarCraft II as well. ![]() ![]() I am a modder, a writer, voice actor, music arranger, and campaign creator. My moniker is Pr0nogo, and my name is Darion Paone. The releases are organised chronologically, starting from the most recent to the most antiquated. All blunders and failings, both of the player and of the game, are part of the end product that you see and experience. There are no re-runs or re-takes unless something happened to the actual recording, which is stated during play and in the LP release notes. I am usually learning the game as I am recording, unless otherwise stated. Most of the time I have not played the game before recording an LP. Most of the information from the old primer was understood by everyone already (and also copied from mesk), but I'll keep these smaller notes: If there is a project you want reviewed, be it your own or someone else's, feel free to recommend it to me. There is a high likelihood that I produce playthroughs of older custom campaigns such as Legacy of the Confederation or Fall From Grace, though such content will be for the express purpose of creating educational resources for the current pool of mapmakers. ![]() I offer this service to everyone who makes custom campaigns and wants their work reviewed by me. I will not publicize these projects unless specifically asked to by the developers. I am still recording playthroughs of such content, but it is usually recorded specifically for the creator(s) of the projects themselves, especially with regards to unreleased custom content that may be deprecated or in early design stages. The previous co-casts were recorded when both parties had access to high-quality mics (hehe) and, more recently, webcams, so unless all those boxes are checked and the co-caster is actually charismatic, you won't see any of those lovely productions very frequently.Īre you still let's playing custom content, such as fan-made campaigns? I have cut ties with most of my friends and as I don't think I'll be pursuing any co-casts on any level of frequency. The videos and audio also frequently had problems with them that were simply never addressed (voice too low or too high, video stuttering or out of sync with audio, etc.), and I am taking steps to fix those issues with newer releases.Ī word of caution to the viewers should also be extended: the commentary within some older productions (particularly older videos not on the main listing below) contain politically incorrect content. This has, by and large, been addressed with my more recent attempts at casting/commentating, as I've grown much more comfortable with my environment and have discovered the kind of material I want to riff off of (i.e. There were times where I would consistently deliver comedic or analytical commentary over long periods of time, and other times where I just wouldn't say anything for minutes on end (or just have nothing interesting to say at all). My older commentary was very hit-or-miss. This development means all future let's play endeavors can and likely will include repeats of old games, as ideally I'll replace all deprecated videos with newer, better ones. If, for some reason, you want to access this content, PM me. All old content is now unlisted on youtube. With the wildly-inconsistent quality of my old videos, I have chosen to cull most of my channel, leaving behind only what I deem to be acceptable content. ![]()
